CSS welcomes gifts of appreciated stocks or securities, which can provide you with tax benefits while also supporting our mission. CSS benefits by selling the stock without paying taxes on the gain, while you benefit from making a contribution that would be larger than what you might have been able to donate in cash. Creating a meaningful legacy is an important consideration for many individuals. One way to ensure your legacy endures is by making a gift in your will or living trust, also known as a bequest. You can choose to gift a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after all other provisions are made. In addition, check with your employer to see if they offer matching gifts. Your employer could match your donation, effectively doubling the impact of your original donation. Matching gift programs are a great way for individuals to maximize the impact of their donations and for companies to show their support for charitable causes that matter most to their employees.

CSS gratefully accepts donations of materials or personal property that support our mission. All in-kind gifts are reviewed to ensure they meet our organization's needs. CSS does not provide gift valuation. A tribute gift is a meaningful way to express sympathy, commemorate a special occasion, honor someone's life and achievements, or memorialize a loved one. A Charitable IRA Rollover contribution to CSS is a great way to support our mission while also reducing your taxable income.
