G.O.A.L.S. Solutions
This program was established to give individuals instructions and practice in the courtesies that make life more pleasant for them and those around them. Each individual is expected to leave the program with the confidence and poise that comes from knowing the proper etiquette in any social situation.
There are five courses offered in this program, which include:
Dining Etiquette:
- Participants will learn the proper way to order a meal, use their napkin, table manners, seating for males and females, introductions, table discussions, tipping the waiter/waitress, paying for the meal and appropriate dress.
Relationship Training:
- Participants will learn ways to set and hold boundaries, appropriate display of affection while in public, ways to handle verbal/physical violence, resolve conflict, and how to cope with anger.
Hygiene:
- Oral care, how to take care of body odor, proper steps to a clean/healthy body, hair grooming, and the importance of being clean.
Social Skills Training:
- How to interact in large/small groups, communication, role playing, appropriate conversations while in a public setting.
Health and Safety Issues:
- Eating a well-balanced meal, proper exercise, road/safety signs, and safe relationships.
